Poetic Professional

Good day I bid my lovely mates,
I'm here not by chance, at any rate,
Today you'll be hearing a little poem of mine,
Which I cooked up nearly close to the deadline.

Holidays are ending fast,
I know some of us wish it would lasts;
Lo and behold, the new term is here,
Let's get ready with the college gear.

Of professionalism I'm here to speak,
A term which some may relate to 'geek';
Before you go rolling your eyes,
Why don't you dig deep, where the meaning lies.

Of Monday blues we all lament,
Having to iron the proper garment;
Dress code is made for a reason,
We'll both look and feel like profecient.

As students we have quality to preserve,
Punctuality, integrity, responsibility and all of the above,
Useful criteria in resume, even more in work field,
Work those attitudes now, don't let shyness be a shield.

Males and females, we're all mankind,
Mixing is inevitable, bear that in mind;
As true muslims and syababs in the modern era,
Surely we know the limits and lines we ought to draw.

'Busy' is never an alien word in med student life,
So be organized, 'cause, remember, time's like a knife,
It'll cut you if you don't cut them ,
Set your priority,'tis better to juggle than to jumble 'em.

Now for the deadly ammunition,
You got that right, it is communication,
Good skills crumble the walls between you and the society,
Handle improperly, you'll be a foreigner even in your own country.

Travel so far to seek knowledge,
So why not be dedicated to it;
Implore, strive, and be indulged with the learning,
Instead of just churning, memorizing and regurgitating.

Aren't the faculty doctors the best?
Work hard to make you understand of all the rest,
Mind your manners and be proactive,
Respect and appreciation to the teachers you'll give.

Hope I haven't been a bore,
But I'm pretty sure you wanted more,
For I've tire my mind,
Coming up with all these rhymes.

InsyaAllah we'll meet again,
Some place some time,
Another story to be told,
In a way that got your attention on hold.

A prayer sent to you all,
For the beginning of a new session,
With renewed spirit and rejoiced mind,
Let's take little step in the long journey
To perfection towards being a PROFESSIONAL.
